SDG&E 101 W. Ash Re-development – (competition)

Re-development of 1960’s era office building (formerly SDG&E) located in San Diegos’ CBD. The architectural concept plays off San Diegos’ and nearby Lindberg Fields’ aviation history especially its airship and subsequent mishap accident back in the 1930’s. The mixed-use residential/retail/office and upper level hospitality design features a multi-level “airship” top complete with entertainment, F & B and indoor/outdoor pool deck area with fantastic views of the bay and nearby air traffic “in and out” of Lindeberg Field.
